The network of Miory Region cultural institutions comprises 30 community centers (in Miory, Disna, a crafts center in Disna, a folklore house in the village of Tsvetino, a culture and spare time center in the village of Leonpol, eight rural community centers, 16 rural clubs, one automobile club), 31 libraries, the Miory children’s arts school with a branch in the village of Yazno, the Disna children’s music school, the Miory History and Ethnography Museum.

The regional newspaper Miyorskiya Naviny has been published since May 1941, with the circulation of 4,345 copies. The Editor-in-Chief is Leonid Alexandrovich Matelenok (phone 4 13 39). The regional radio station broadcasts three times a week (phone 4 90 84).
