There are 154 sports establishments in the region: 20 gyms, Miory children’s and youth sports school, volleyball and athletics clubs, Atlant sports club. 

The region has developed eight tourist routes. Special attention is paid to rural tourism in the region. There are seen guest houses providing rural tourism services, Aktam tourism facility.
