Over 200 Belarusian paratroopers participating in Slavonic Brotherhood 2021 exercise
The Russian-Belarusian-Serbian tactical exercise Slavonic Brotherhood 2021 will begin in the exercise area Rayevsky in Novorossiysk today.
Over 200 military personnel of the 103rd Vitebsk Independent Guards Airborne Brigade will take part in the exercise, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
Joint actions of army units of Belarus, Russia, and Serbia in the course of carrying out counterterrorism missions will be practiced during the exercise.
The exercise will feature air drops of personnel and cargoes, the crossing of water obstacles, direct deployment, and live fire.
The personnel are flown to the exercise area on board an IL-76MD aircraft. About 100 military personnel previously left Belarus for Novorossiysk on board a military train.
