The region hosts 37 cultural institutions, including State Cultural Institution “Miory Center for Culture and Folk Art” with 15 branches, 18 libraries of State Cultural Institution “Miory Centralized Library System”, State Educational Institution “Miory Children's Art School” with 1 branch in Disna, State Cultural Institution "Miory Historical and Ethnographic Museum”.
On the basis of the branches of State Cultural Institution "Miory Center for Culture and Folk Art", Turki Rural House of Culture and Tsvetino Center for National Culture and Folklore, platforms for philharmonic and theatrical services to the population were equipped.
The local newspaper "Miory News" has been published since May 1941.
